5:48 PM: Tear gas fired by police on BJP protesters staging dharna outside the police headquarters. BJP Bengal chief Sukanta Majumdar fainted due to the smoke.
5:10 PM: BJP squats on the road outside Lalbazar Police HQ.
4:18 PM: Protesters set a bike on fire at Babughat.
3:27 PM: Protesters reach within 100 meters of Nabanna. Dispersed by police. Clashes continue even after three hours
3:02 PM: Clash breaks out in Hastings as protesters pelt stones and attempt to break the barricade. Police fire tear gas.
2:08 PM: Chocolate bombs were thrown at police in Burrabazar. An officer says, "We have all the recordings and we will reply later. We are ready for any situation"
2:02 PM: TMC leaders slam the Nabanna Abhiyan claiming it was political and not at all peaceful. Spokesperson Kunal Ghosh claims IC Chanditala has been severely injured during stone pelting.
1:50 PM: Stone pelted at police in Burrabazar and Howrah Maidan. The areas are under massive chaos. A policeman reportedly got injured as well in Howrah Maidan.

1:03 PM: Chhatra Samaj protesters climb on barricades. Police fire tear gas and water cannon at protestors.
12:56 PM: Protesters break barricade at Santragachi, police lathi charge, and fire tear gas to disperse the crowd
12:38 PM: Huge gathering at Sealdah station as protestors begin march to Nabanna.
12:24 PM: Members of Chhatra Samaj begin march from College Square.
12:06 PM: Police barricades at Hastings, the entrance to the second Hoogly Bridge which leads to Nabanna
11:50 AM: Check gates at the backside of Fort William at Hastings, being greased by civic volunteers, in an attempt to likely thwart protesters from scaling the barricades.
11:36 AM: Police personnel and barricade at Santragachi in Howrah, the road leads to Nabanna
